Who We Are
UNITE It Takes A Village is a -- nonprofit organization motivated by the Great Commission “each one, reach one” to mobilize to improve the conditions, stabilize and empower those in need.
Why We Help
Aiding numerous individuals is a privilege. We aren’t in the trenches with the staff of the agencies, but we are dedicated to being a backbone of support. Abused and abandoned children will have an impact on society. Many children in our communities suffer from trauma that causes severe emotional disturbances and behavioral problems. Knowing that we support agencies who provide hope, help and safety motivates us each and every day to do what we do.
Fundraising: to raise money and in-kind donations efficiently.
Community Service: to promote and coordinate volunteer support of service providers.
Fund Distribution: to distribute charitable funds to the most needy individuals.
Community Building: to build alliances among charities, businesses and other entities in support of the community.
Publicity: to execute support through events, promotions and awareness campaigns.
Mission Statement
We will strive each year to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals who need it most. The disadvantages, hardships and challenges these individuals face motivates us constantly to focus on fulfilling their needs. We will accomplish our goals through special events and public awareness campaigns. We take pride in knowing we have already made a difference and welcome the challenge to beat our future goals. Fundraiser
Pearls of Faith Fundraiser
Greetings to all!! It is fundraising time we are raising funds to assist our 18 motherless children at Precious Pearls Motherless Children's Home in Egbeda, Nigeria. We are offering our Journey of Faith Candle Collection to raise funds. we have a initial fund raising goal of $2800. Each child will receive a care package with a $100 value the remaining $1000 will go directly towards the homes rent and upkeep. The Candles are for sale in our store section of the page. Also if you would simply like to donate that option is also available on our store product page. Many thanks and God Bless you all!!

Our mission is to provide services and assistance to families in need. In order to do this we need your help. Promise and I started giving in this manner out of a sense of duty, we believe that whatever we can do no matter how big or small can make a impact on someone's life. We feel "we are our brothers keepers" and we have a responsibility to help our brothers and sisters.
Whether you give out of a sense of duty, want to make a difference in the world, as a method of tithing or other religious reasons; whether you want to belong or to do something good for your soul or you could simply just be angry; feed up with injustice, inequality that your witnessing in the world today we understand. We understand where you're coming from, we understand that every little bit counts. Our mission is to be there for support even if we are the only ones that show up and give, we are moved to do this and we will be successful.
Currently we have one orphanage with a second one we are looking into and also about four individual recipients who have had life changing circumstances and are in need. The things that we assist with is housing cost, transportation, meals, clothing, school supplies, art supplies, toiletries and anything else they may need. We also endeavor to provide services for these individuals certification programs, training programs, assistance with healthcare, counseling, etc. We need funds and volunteers to get these things done so if you're unable or offer funds we would love to work with you to offer your time or services or products we welcome you and invite you to join us in this mission.
We have several ways you can give on this site you can give cash by going to our store, look for the ITAV tab and give in any denomination you like, also we have our pearls of faith fundraiser going on year round, we have our school supply fundraiser and our art fundraiser we have so many options for you we even had our fundraising company build a special page with so many different items to choose from. There are magazines to cookie dough to candles. This fundraiser is year round and we are so excited to raise funds for our recipients and be able to consistently provide support for them!! May 2023 God lead us to our first orphanage Precious Pearls in Lagos, Nigeria. This facility houses 18 motherless children and a small amazing staff of ladies. This facility was clean and well managed but in need of assistance. The children were in good spirits, kind, respectful, intelligent and helpful. UNITE It Takes A Village has made a commitment to aid and assist this home in every way possible.
